Last June I wrote a blog post about how inept I considered Doug Ford.  I hate his politics, for the most part.  Too Trump-like…too money driven and conservative.

But, over the course of the past few months, I have to hand the guy tons of credit.  Despite my feelings of his professional life and politics, Doug Ford has handled the virus situation with wisdom and good timing.  He’s done an amazing job for Ontario.  He has certainly made me take a second look.

I can only hope his sense of community, social need, and economic inequity will gain wisdom as he navigates this province through the pandemic.  So far, he’s done a really good job.  I don’t know if I’d ever vote for him, but his reputation has changed.  He seems changed.  This kind of situation can’t be easy for any serious community leader.

Well done, Doug.  Kudos.
